Is 3.25 ozs enough?

I just bought a clymer manual for my bike(sportsman 500 HO 4x4) and is says 3.25 oz is all the front gear case needs .................doesnt seem like enough anyone know anything about this......Thanks for any help

it says 5 oz. in the manual of prem. demand drive hub fluid.

Whichever the case is, just fill it to the bottom of the plug hole.
