Default 98 sportsman ebs

Hi This my first post, kind of new to it all. I bought a sportsman 500, its 98 and does not have the engine brake. What would it take to install this and about how much cost. I bought this to do timber riding with my 3 year old grandson. this would be nice to have as we have good size hills with trees near bottom turn, dont always work good useing brakes. Thanks

welcome to the forum graybeard. sounds like a name i should taken, so my wife says. any ways i dont know for sure but i do beleave you have to replae the whole clutch to do it. here are the 2 main parts and prices..1 ASM.,CLUTCH,DRIVE,1-WAY,HLRD
1520231 1 $120.11

2 WASHER-1.39X1.99X.030,BRASS
7556202 (replaces 7556009) 1 $1.91
SPACER-1.25X2.25,PM
5631119 1 $21.83 the whole clutch it self is about $405.00. it really isnt worth(to me anyways) to upgrade. just make sure you have good brake pads and there not all worn out.
