Great call on a good service manual, all you should need is some metric sockets, wrenches and possibly some allen head(hex head) wrenches(need them on mine to remove floor boards)

Just went to the dealer, they have to special order the manual..... 50 bucks.... and it's not on ebay or amazon.... *sigh*

most liely you got water and silt onthe better which makes it slip. i would pull the cover off to clean it and check to make sure the gasket on the cover is not all dissorted and letting water into the cover. it realy shouldn't have got in that easy.

I pulled the cover off, which was 'fun'.....
There definetly was water in there, it's all out now... Now there is just a bit of moisture. Also, there are small dots of rust in different areas... I'm not 'too' concerned about that.
What I am concerned about however is the amount of what looks like grease on the inside of the cover. It looks like it sprayed everywhere when I was revving the engine at the time of the accident...
I'll post pictures tonite so you all can see.

The grease being sprayed all over inside the clutch cover is from the primary clutch, it got wet and slung all the grease when diluted with the water. That is why you can not get up to speed or at hard acceleration it slipps. mine did the same thing when It got diluted with oil.
Just pull the primary clutch pack off and repack it with the proper grease , clean all the old junk off the cover and reassemble and then ride the fire out of it.
