I forgot my battery in the trail boss all winter what are the odds of it still holding a charge!!!!!! i will find out monday hopfully and hopfully it holds a charge again. hopfully it pull starts i only ever pull started it once but then again it is only 1 year old

it should be ok, but if its totally dead i have read not to run a polaris with a dead battery you will blow all the light bulbs out the guy i bought my used polaris from had that problem and i read it on here. dont take the chance charge the battery.

I usually leave the battery in my Mustang all winter and it always starts in the spring. Same with my bike but I ride it all winter so I guess that doesn't count. Just make sure the battery isn't frozen and put it on a trickle charger and it should be fine.

do a search on here on batterys youmight find something or wait for more replies on this im sure you will here more.
ive pulled started mine when the battery was low but it wasnt completely dead i had no problems its when the battery is dead i heard these things happen.

dont ever run the bike w/out a batery in it. if the battery was fully charged and full of acid then its probably fine. i left my 800 battery in all winter w/out starting and it started up. your charging system is for more maintaing the battery then as a charger but it will do it if you run it long enough and above idle.
