Default 2006 Sportsman 500 x2 RPM and seat prob.

I forgot to do the diagnostics test this morning so I don't have an update on that.

Today it kept dying on us when we would stop to open/shut gates and after the troubles we had yesterday my boss made the executive decision to plan on taking it into the dealer and letting them sort it out. Although I'm a resourceful woman, its best to just let someone address whatever is going on with this machine and get it fixed correctly and quickly so we can get it back ASAP.

I do superly appreciate all of the help though, as I definitely wasn't expecting the turnout that I got. You all rock = )

May you all have stellar riding this summer!

Throttle issue ... it is a problem in the thumb throttle area dealing with the cable or possibly TPS? I can't remember what it was that fixed ours ... and is a known problem ... call the local dealer, they should have some info ...

Seat ... known issue also ... there is a free kit you can get from the dealer to replace the sides ... also, we stufffed a piece of foam over our handle and the rattle went away

Check out those things out .. hopefully it will help

Do you have a part number for the kit? I am planning on buying an ATV and it maybe the X2. I am importing it from the US to Canada and I want to make sure that I ask the dealer ahead of time to get what ever is required for fixes or recalls.

Thanks
