sorry for all the questions guys, hope ya'll don't mind
I took the sp out for a little bit today and rode for about 2 hours. huge difference between it the the artic 400 I'm used to. well, about 20 minutes into the ride I heard the fan come on. it stayed on for the about the whole time I was riding. I did cut it off for about 10 minutes and as soon as I started it back up the fan came right back on. is this normal? the heat icon never came on at all, I kept a watchful eye on it. I did do a lot of slow hill climbs and was taking it easy over some rough terrain. also, one of the other times I cut it off to wait for my buddy to get across a stream when I started it back up the battery icon started to flash but went off as soon as I gave it some gas. is it because of the fan being on? can I get the battery tested just like a car battery? thanks in advance.

unless your radaitor is plugged or maybe therostat is messing up(not over heating so no) the fan should not stay on all the time. yes it does run alot as the twins do run hotter and going slow will make it cycle more. you can check the battery volage thru the speedo menu to see what it is. the battery icon says when theres a big drag on the system or the battery voltage is low.

finally for around to checking the voltage on my battery via the display. it says 11.9 volts and after startup it goes up to around 13 and a little higher at idle. when I rev it some it'll go up to the 15s. I assume all is fine with my charging system. is the battery voltage ok?
