The old stuck ring piston seizure syndrome. Bummer!
Now to analyze what caused the seizure.
Did you start the engine and immediately run the quad? If so that is called a cold seizure, caused by the piston expanding faster than the block.
Were you running summer time jetting in your carburetor?
Or, were you running a different type of two stroke oil which caused the rings to stick. Caster Bean Oil can do this to a two stroke in the winter. Sometimes by gelling in the resevoir.
Or, how about a high speed run down the lake or river with lean jetting. Backing off of the accelerator without blipping it a couple times.
In any event, if you can stay away from the Wiseco pistons if you can. Most people can't buy just one. Good luck.
