cheap way is a Dalton black/white primy spring and set your secondary to 2-2.Wakes up a stock 500 for around $30

It really helps to get a service manual when taking clutches apart for the first few times. But you can call Rick Ritter(618-644-3211) and get you the primary spring and it is a basic taske bolts out change spring put bolts in.The secondary gets tricky and you will need a second pair of hands to preload the spring.

Hey,
I just put the Dalton black/white on my wifes 06 Scrammy 500. I am not sure if I like it. Not much difference in performance but big decrease in gas mileage. All the spring seems to have done is make it rev higher to engage and run at higher RPM therefore using more gas. The throttle response is still sluggish. I am not sure what effect the 2/2 setting would have.

The 2-2 setting will make some difference in take off and top rpms. But what you said about a spring change is exactly what it is supposed to do.Raise stall speed and give you more rpms.500 Scramblers use lots of gas anyway and with less than 4gals it seems to be low all the time.
