The CVs are whatu are refering to right? rubber boots on both ends. If so they should be tight into front diff flush mounted to case. They will wiggle alittle like barely any movement in any direction.if I'm on right part here theres a snap ring that holds into front diff on CV shaft they have teeth,grooves. that interlock so movement should be minimal,but they do wiggle

They do jiggle around more then in and out.If u put your hand around center shaft and pull, it will wiggle around.I was trying to describe things that happen so he might better understand. cause I'm not sure we are talking about same part. It is minimal movement in shaft coming out of front diff.very minimal. some folks see things diffrently if thats moving part u are wondering about.If it's moving in and out I would be worried about locking ring being broke on CV
