Trail blazer oil ratio?
Just did a top end rebuild on a buddys Trail Blazer,he still has a good working oil injection system but I wanted to run a premix in the tank for break in.I am thinking a 40:1 ratio , if so how much oil in oz is that per gallon.I may talk him into doing away with the injection but still need to know

i think you would be better off w/ a 32 to 1 premix. personally i wouldnt do away w/ the oil injection as they hardly ever break down and are alot easier to deal with. i think its like 2 ozs. / gallon but dont quote me. just an idear, go buy those (i think its 5oz bottle) little chainsaw/ weed trimmer 2 cycle oil bottles and use them i think there good for 2 1/2 gallons. i use them and split in half in a 1 gallon can on my saw/ trimmer. runs a little rich but doesnt hurt to be safe.

Trail blazer oil ratio?
just had my uncle's trailblazer rebuilt and the mechanic at the dealer said not to put more oil in the gas. it'll add to much oil and it won't break in properly. they said to just vary the throttle at times and donthold it wide open for extended periods for the first 2 tanks of gas. after that, its all out.

Trail blazer oil ratio?
I have another question, is it ok to run a nonsynthetic oil say Bel ray 2 stroke in the polaris? The owner has no idea what oil is in it,he bought it not running,I believe it is Maxima 2 stroke due to the sweet smell but who knows it might be outboard oil somebody put in it or maybe it's the reason it had a .050 ring gap at tear down and 50 psi compression, what ever it was it's drained out.I'm doing some other work at the moment on the atv,I called it a peice of crap to start with but its coming around.I have a case of belray S2 2 stroke oil "injector or premix" I'm tempted to run in it but unsure,I suppose its a touchy subject on oil as far as preference, some say do not use synthetic oils during break in?
