i just bought a 2008 500 efi,and when i go down a hill in high with adc turned on,i hear a loud sqealing noise comming from the front of the atv,anybody having this problem,,,,,,,,,,

 

My guess it's the belt as it first catches. When it does that what happens when you touch the gas? Does it stop?

If you read the owners manual you should be in low range when traveling slow with ADC engaged! You are slipping the belt!

yes,and also it creeps in low gear every now and again,thanks

thats what it sounds like,with the creeping in low gear,i thank you're right,i can't find any thing about having to be in low gear,that doesn't make sense,thats really stupid isn't it................thanks.........

what page is this at,i can't find anything .

 

high will squeel a little in high range w/ the adc on in high but not low. it is slipping the belt a little in high so low is the ticket to fixing it.
