no code stays in there, you have to go into the diag. screen to get to them to read. check your manaul and it will tell you how to do it or do a search as theres dozens of post of this.

I dont see anything in the owners manual, and I just bought the wheeler so I haven't picked up a service manual yet.

I did search this site, found info for everything but exactly how to do it. I'll search again.

I found it, there is nothing in the index or in the front, but I found it with the speedo section. Thanks for the help!

Well, I took the wheeler to the dealer. They cannot get the module to communicate with the computer. So, They think its either in the gauge cluster, or in the computer. They are going to order the cluster 1st. I said why dont you order both so if the cluster is not it, you have the ecm.

I wonder sometimes about the guys who are working on these things today...

my guess would be the ECM............The cluster is just giving you the light which will be getting a signal from the computer to turn on!!!........As I said My guess would be the E.C.M........I am on my third one now.............First one quad would shut off when I turned my headlights on..............And second one Fan was running all the time and came on with no key in...... which ran the battery dead!!..........These things control "alot" and the dealer should try that first in my opinon!!!.........Caper.........
