ive ran regular citgo 10w-40 SJ approved motor oil in my wheeler since the first oil change. over the past month my clutch has been getting gradually worse because i havent been using SF/SJ approved oil. so im buying a new clutch kit and just wondering what brand i should buy. ive heard that the ebc will wear quicker that stock and i want one that will last. theres two on ebay that look good to me for like 90-100 and then there is a tusk one at rockymountainatv.com for like 42 bucks. what should i go with.

 

If it was me I would get a Barnett clutch kit for it and use the right oil for it

 

i also run 22" tires which i think helped wear the clutch. i heard that that clutch would wear quicker than stock though.

 

I just put a tusk in. works well. i dunno how long it will last. It has the same steel plates as stock, but more friction material on the clutch plates. we will see how long its lasts.

 

I ran the barnett carbon fiber clutch in my Z. It lasted for about 3 years of hard riding, before I sold it.

 

I have heard others swear by carbon fibre ones as well and I think it was ALBA that had them ?
