when the temp is in the teens it starts fine, then i run it for 10 or 15 minutes, come to a stop and it kills, it starts back up when i turn the key, getting tired of having to keep starting it back up. it ran fine all summer, there was a little snow in the air box so i cleaned the filter and air box, it still does it. any thoughts?

Check to make sure the throttle cable is adjusted snug. The adjustment is near the throttle lever in the cable. Slide back the rubber cover and adjust the cable a little tighter. See how that works for you and let us know.

wow! that seemed to work. i just riped around the field in about 6" of snow for about 15 minutes, it didn't kill. it now idles around 1160 to 1180 RPM does that sound about right?

Good job guys! I had the same problem on my 500 X2 EFI. Tried it and it worked. Thanks.
