Default AWD engagement - rear wheels slipping too much

I have a 2002 Sportsman 500. The AWD doesn't engage the front wheels till the back wheels are spinning way too fast. Is this something that is easy to adjust or is something a shop would have to fix.

Thanks.

The front tires engage with 1/5 rotation of the rear wheel.
You have a problem! No adjustment, something busted in the front diff.
