Default Replacement Header/Exhaust Pipe for 03 Sportsman 700

i think stock jetting would be fine as most o the time polaris jets fat(rich) anyways. now you put an 800 primary clutch on that and will have more power as well.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner Pat but for some reason I couldn't log on to the forums. Looks like you already found out it will fit. As far as the jetting they usually come a little rich from the factory but would probably be a good ideal to do a few runs and pull the spark plug and see if your to lean.

Thanks everyone for the help.
I'll check the spark plugs after a few runs and let you know how it looks.
I dunno about getting the clutch this year, funds are low, just had the head redone, was leaking anti-freeze in the engine oil. I'm still crossing my fingers that it's fixed.

My plug colour looks good. I have the heat shield installed, I had to trim the corner of the floor board slightly as it was in the way of the new heat shield. I kept a 1/2" gap between the two.
The only trouble I was having while plowing was after about 20 mins of forward/reverse the idle dropped and I had to give a little gas to keep it going. I turned the idle up, I can't tell what RPM it's at using the diagnostic screen on the pod because my tranny switch is messed up in Neutral and Reverse and I get an "E" on the screen. So when I go into that it just tells me the software version, when I hit the yellow over-ride button, it exits the program.
I talked to the dealer about the carb and he told me to drill the factory plug out from the bottom of the carb to get at the air mixture screw and to turn it out 1/2 turn and I should see increased performance with the new pipes.
