Scrambler won't start but I know why now
#1
My Scrambler died on me last time I went riding and I've been trying to get it going the last few days. I checked everything, plug, carb, ETC switch, put in new gas but nothing worked. I finally ran a real compression test on it today and it only registered 35 PSI. My manual says it needs to be at least 100 PSI so I think I've found my problem. Guess I'll be doing the top end with a new Wiseco. I've never done a top end on a Polaris before, anyone have any tips or suggestions?

I followed the directios that were supplied with my Wiseco, and everything went perfect. Just make sure you drain the coolant first, and don't horse the wrist pin out, it should come out easily. It tool me about 6-7 hours to do, and I'm no Mr. Goodwrench. Take your time, and get bowls to set on each side of the quad, if a part comes off that side, it goes in the bowl on that side, know what I mean. You'll also need a torque wrench.
