Alright im lost ....

When i bought my quad i got 2 yrs free. That was the promotion.

So i called my local dealer (which is in canada) and they quoted me around $1200) for the extra months to make 5 yrs.

So yesterday called polaris dealer in the usa. He looked up my VIN# right on the phone yada yada yada and said he was unsure if i had to buy 36 months or the full five yrs. (Cause i have 2yrs i got free)

So the dealer calls me back and says GE which is polaris star won't give me the credit for the 2 yrs free of which i have to pay for the full 5 yrs...which is a rip off.

$735 for the full 5 yrs was the final result. Which is better then canadian dealer pricing but still GE milking all of us.

GE Money Bank, if that's who you're talking about, really sucks. Sounds like you got a decent deal for three years of coverage, too bad they tried to rip you off in the begining.

i keep telling you guys to ask the dealer that your dealing w/ thats going to work on the bike and ask them what tey cover and what they dont so you know what is going to be covered and whats not. you could loose your engine or maybe a front end and they can say you beat on it or didint shift it correctly and dropped the front end and say sorry thats condsiderd abuse. thats why you want to ask the dealer what he would cover so theres no mistake later and a big bill to go along w/ it. imo.

the star warrenty will cover almost any moveing part but it has to fail, worn is maintance..see what i am saying, its a play of words..that ok when my frt driveshafts broke due to broken u-joints it cost them 2 frt axels and a frt diff cause the axel put a hole the size of a beer can in it ..$1800.00 repair i learned how to play the game ..if they only cover broken parts then dam it, i"ll break it!!!!! and they call call it lack of maintance if they do all of yur regularly scheduled maintance.. of course make sure you dont have half the swamp hanging under when you bring it in!

Whats the difference between polaris 6 month warrany and polaris star?

I mean doesn't polaris only fix things when there broken and not when there about too? Just trying to clarify this.
