2005 sportsman no 4wd in reverse

Default 2005 sportsman no 4wd in reverse

just remember to make it a switch to override the button as you ned to go back to it to scroll thru the menu on the display. basicly there is 4 wires on the plug in and you have to run a jumper wire for 2 of them together. cant remember w/out looking on which color wires but its either the top 2 or the bottom 2 thats together. while its in reverse w/ the key on(bike off) take a jumper wire and try the top 2 or bottom 2 wires together and if its the right 2 wires the display will start flashing slow.

Default 2005 sportsman no 4wd in reverse

I have the same exact problem. I do hear a humming sound from the front hub with the override button engaged(Quad raised off the ground with rear wheels spinning in reverse.)Did you find out the problem with your quad yet? I am also trying to avoid the dealer!
