OK...

I love my X2 and don't want to think about all the working factor I miss all those years...

My question is....The POLARIS 4x4 system compare to ALL THE OTHER ONE I HAD in the past ......work well BUT when you hit the trottle, the rear wheel want to slide all the time like a 2 Wheels machine ( not a big deal but ). It take while to used "mellow" the trottle in WINTER GROOM TRAIL.....

What you guy have to said...

Seriously....if you want a power machine you might try a OUTLANDER 800....

I'm concern about the fact that the wheel don't spin at the same time ???? it is right ??? Something that you don't feel with the other machine. The competition have a front wheel ALWAY spinnig ( 3 wheels drive ).....and you feel the difference with POLARIS.....Someone talk to me to put 2 lbs more air in front tire to make that feel deasaper...

I had my quad out in the snow 2 weeks ago after waking up to 7-8 inches of snow. My Polaris 4x4 PVT system didn't have a problem.

what happens is that, when you push the AWD button, you still stay in 2wd until the front tires sense slipping in the back tires, then they will engage. it's not engaging real rough or anything is it?? and if all is working fine, be careful on the ice, you'll toast the roll cage in the front diff in no time, i've rebuilt 6 front differentials in 2 weeks because of that, well one was because a guy has 29.5 inch tires on and cv joints were rubbing on strut housing and binding

I have noticed this also with my 800. When I drive down a slushy road and go to accelerate ever so slightly, the rear end will spin and want to fish tail a bit before the 4X4 kicks in.
I really don't care for this, as I am not horsing around, but just driving normal on slippery surfaces. It would be nice to be able to LOCK all four in when you demand it and not have a slip differential.

this system works like alot of the awd cars as its only in when you need it. since its supppose to kick in w/ 1/5 rear wheel spin it shouldnt be very much before it kicks in. like kerbird says becareful you dont hammer it on ice w/ the adw pushed in as it would cause it to slam in awd and most likey break the front end parts. imo
