if your going to get them anyways i would get them now. unless money is an issue then wait. you might be able to get a little better deal on ebay or something. when i buy the wheeler i make them knock 15 or 20 % on what ever i purchase. when i bought my bike in 05' i still get discount on any parts i buy no mattter what its for.

Might as well do it now, you know you'll be buying them as soon as you get it
I've got the winch, brushguard, rear bumper, rack extenders, mirror, GPS mount, new grips, getting ready to order the EPI front springs and Ricochet A-Arm gaurds all within two months of buying my machines

The only downside to EFI is that if you loose the battery or other certain electrical components, the popo no gogo.

yup that's somewhat true to some degree..riding in utah last year,on the last 2 days, the 500 was hard to start, had to pull start it..3 day ride home, went to take it off the truck and the battery was zonked out, nothing nada,...pull started it right up and rode it 5 miles, turned it off, battery dead ,pull started up and rode around some more..parked it for 6 weeks, went out to use it and was dead, put it on the charger for a day then used it for 4 days in a row for 5 hrs a day...went dead on the last day...went to pull off the battery to check the water and found 3 Green caps missing and one cell way down..so fast forward 2months of not riding it,my friend calls and said they got a 20 to 30 people going on a ride in Alabama on sat..this was friday,so i go down to the NAPA store to get a battery and they didn't have one for it so i got something close, get off work go home and go to put on the battery and the posts are backwards...dangit..so it's 8:00pm and i run to Walmart to see if they have something..they had everything in stock in the book except for Polaris....so i had the old battery with me and started looking fo SOMETHING to use...guess what..a LAWN mower battery with thr REVERSE terminals on it WORKED...275amps and was the exact same size..and guess what...$19.95 for the battery...went back and hooked it up and have rode 60 mile the last 2 weeks just fine...the NAPA battery was $79.95,polaris dlr wanted $99.95..2006 efi 500
