2002 sportsman 700 wont run right

it seems to run on 1 cylinder and then its runs on2 for a few seconds then back to 1. if i hit the gas when its running on 1 cylinder it dies. ive tried spark plugs and wires. any ideas?

Make sure the battery connections are tight. And do the same for the coil.

Which cylinder isn't firing? It must be a spark problem as opposed to fuel.

Some other more knowledgeable folk with chime in I'm sure.

how did the plugs look when you replaced them? were they both the same. has a single coil so not sure if that one side would go bad. hows the compression on each cyclinder?
