is a roller clutch worth getting for a scambler 400?

If you take off the cover over your clutches and watch them as you rev the engine in neutral you will learn alot about the system.
The sheaves of the clutches expand and contract toward one another in response to rpm and torque. The enclosed ramp roller action clutch allows the rear clutch to do this friction free. This gives you the instant throttle response.
Although there is much more to it, I think about the clutch like a 21 speed mountain bike. Just how you would use the gears on the bike to get going or go up a hill then shift gears once you got going or had reached the top of the hill the clutch on your quad does the same thing only you don't control the sprocket sizes while riding. You control how quickly the sprocket sizes change by using different springs, weights, etc.
I hope I haven't confused anyone(everyone lol). I was clueless about the system at first and educated myself by speaking with people and reading the clutch tuning book written by Olav Aaen. Now that I understand it I think it is neat and fun to experiment with.
