I look at my belt ,its the original Polaris 3211069 belt with 220 hrs. It looks not bad but I think I might as well change it out since its apart now.

The dealer wants $89 for the belt but Canadian Tire sell a Goodyears "Gator Back" 30gb51040 Sportsman 500 belt for $50.

Has anyone tied these?

No, but it sure looks like a good one. I just read an article that calls it self-healing. I'd go ahead and buy that over a Polaris belt, and use the money I save for gas. I checked the dealer locater and the nearest one is just over 100 km away from me.

 

I bought it and will try it out on my fishing trip this 16th of may. The $40 savings is going in my gas tank for sure. LOL

 

yeah good year is good vs price,i won a bid on ebay a year ago on a 100% kevlar belt for $36+ijust looked at it 200mi +looks mint+0 dust in the cover,huh.

 

nothing will come close to the oem popo belt..been there done that!!!
