I'm having trouble finding aftermarket accessories for my 08 Sportsman 400HO but find plenty for the 07 and older Hawkeyes. Are they the same? Whats the differences, if any?</end quote></div>
Plenty of accessories for the '07 Hawkeye???? WHERE? I can't find diddly squat for the '07 Hawkeye. The muffler I mounted up is for an 800 Sportsman. Brake pads and air filters is about all I ever see.

How did you go about installing that muffler? Did you have to modify it?

No modifications to the muffler. I did have to fab up a bracket to mount it to the frame. It fits right up to the stock headpipe. I have found it to be a little too close to the rear fender plastic under the rack. I took a Dremel tool and a cut a small radius in the plastic. Problem solved.
