Never noticed anything of that nature, maybe a high spot on one of the discs or rust on the rear disc. Sound like something that will wear in.

Those new 400's look great. I like the size of them too. Would be a great secondary quad for sure. The price is nice on them.

How's the power feel on it? Does it have some boogy to it? It really looks mean with those tires. I wouldn't be surprised if it did better in the mud with that much flotation!

No disappointment power wise from me. A perfect compromise between practical and fun, fun, fun.

Mine is on tracks all winter, and nothin, BUT NOTHIN, needs power like tracks.

Grab a test drive!

Let's put it this way, it has only a few less HP then the SP500, but it weighs a 100# less!!! It will definately get out and boogy! I have had mind up to 60mph and it handles the bigger tires with no effort at all.

Stendori, haven't noticed the pedal thing at all but then again I really don't use the pedal all that often...is the vibration coming from the brakes or can it be a tire issue? Did it do this with the stock tires?

I think thats a "pucker rack". The passenger sits down on it and puckers up tight and I think that'll be Stendori.

its the mount for the kolpin gas pack that i posted in the other threads for add ons. power wise its the same 455cc engine that is in the the sportsman 450 but w/ a weight saving of 117 lb from the 2 bikes. just a side not if i didnt mention it b4. do not try to put biger tires on them the 25" w/ 3/4" tread as they will hit while riding.

subyman,

I have about 100 miles on my 400, and no complaints about power. I went riding at the Badlands in Attica Indiana last weekend. 2 guys had 700 Honda Rincons, I could go anywhere they went. Plus I think I had the advatage in the woods because of the smaller size. The only place they went that I wouldn't, was some big deep jeep mud holes and I ended up winching them out.
