I just removed 2 from mine, I also run 25" mudlites and I lost MPH with the rollers and the tires. BUT It's so much quicker that mine will get squirrelly (I only run about 7 to 8 lbs in my tires)</end quote></div>
ONLY 7 or 8 pounds? Shouldn't be less, like 5 pounds?

I initially removed two of the 14gm. rollers on the wifeys '06 Hawkeye and found in my situation that it was too much weight to remove. The clutching seemed to mismatch the power band of the engine on the high side.
I opted to go with the 8-12gm rollers instead and this seems to do a much better job of utilizing the entire power band of the little 300 and eliminated the over revving condition I got with two 14gm. rollers removed
Speed wise, I topped out at about 52 MPH (If I remember right), in stock form, about 48 MPH with the 8-12 gm and 25" Swamplites tires and about 45MPH with the 6-14gm rollers and 25" Swamplites
Note; not sure how much of the speed loss was roller weight and how much tires!
Also, remember that your altitude and weather conditions will affect all of this drastically since our little 300 cc hummer is very sensitive to these conditions! What works for me may be somewhat different for you.
