i need some help yall. i just bought a xplorer, after riding it for about 15 mins it goes dead and i have to recharge the battery, my question is what could be the problem, the battery checks out fine in a test. i have also got oil running down the right side of engine but i cannot find out where it is coming from, i know these may be stupid question but i had to ask.

 

Check charging system,should around 14 volts above idle WITH a good battery(you did load test?) Also checkcounter balancer vent tube for overflow,have had waterpump seals leak into cavity and puke out while running,check reg/rect connections,replace if needed. NO such thing as a stupid question,only stupid answers,SOMETIMES mine!
