I have no intentions of trying to make a "hot rod" that was never the question. I was wondering what kind of aftermarket things are avaliable to get the most out of the machine. If I wanted a hot rod I wouldnt have bought it!

Not much to do. You can't change the belt drive! You can get a little more power by giving Rick Ritter a call at Ritter Cycles and tell him what you want and he will hook you up with a better clutch spring usually for under 30 bucks. Small engine or big engine, if it says polaris on the side it will get there. Don't get me wrong others will get you there too but the polaris is built for a better ride and I like the frame and all its guards.
