Default 06 500 Sportsman

Can anyone tell me what that easiest way to replace the brake pads are on the 06' Sportsman is? Thanks

once you take the wheel off you'll see its prety easy to do. i would get the ebc brand pads as they are better then stock for sure.

Default 06 500 Sportsman

Easy job! Take wheels off; Take caliper off(two bolts on back of strut); use an allen wrench to back out the set screw on the top side of the caliper;(look around the caliper it is the only allen head); pads should fall out; take a pry bar or big swrew driver and push the big piston on the caliper back in(big round circle in the middle of the caliper); put on the new pads; tighten the allen head set screw; slip back on disc; replace the two bolts; replace wheels; bleed brake lines if you like.

(Don't use lock tight on nothing. Also you might have to open the bleeder valve to push the piston back but try to do it with out opening the bleeder first.)
