Default clutch whinning

Mine does it. Somewhat high pitched but only when your moving. But we think secondary is rubbing clutch cover, has rub marks on it. But dunno if there old marks because has no reason to rub. But if I push on the cover the same noise gets louder. Can try that, push on the cover and see if it just gets touch louder.

*edit*
Forgot to say mines 99 scrambler 400. But pretty much any of them with clutch overs (aka like almost all polaris's) can have the whine so really don't matter what model. Our 96 sport did it too to the point of rubbing a hole through the cover.
