New sportsman 800 transfer case/ gear box noisy
#1
I have a new 800 sportsman with 86 miles and since new the gearbox or transfer case is noisy when inbetween go and wo is this a normal problem for everyone I sure don't like it. I can grab the front or rear drive line and turn it back and forth to mimic the sound. Also the belt is slipping only going down hill now. It still is under warranty but I would rather fix it myself! All info is greatly appreciated

is this a new 08' 800? if so then it comes w/ ebs and is always engaged when the throttle is not pushed to slow you down. there is no free wheeling AT ALL. if you let off the throttle and it slows you down but then stars free wheeling then you have an issue. you should read the post "check those fluids" written by shepdog and i as well have some good info you need to read.
