Default 500 EFI Clutch Advise

Id like to pickup a little more mid range acceleration, it feels real strong on the low end but loses on midrange and top end, I would like to have a simple solution clutch wise, do i go with a different spring or clutch weight change, reason being is I drag raced my cousin on his 700 grizzly, I pulled him on the start but at 50-100' he started pulling away from me, at the end of 300' or so he had me by 30 feet, I would like to lessen that gap, We did however have a small hill climb race of 20 feet in low 4x4 and we tied, i was really impressed with the 500 Polaris but i think i can get more out of it in the low and midrange. Any suggestions are welcomed.
