fuel system cleaner
#1
I was wondering if you could run regular automotive fuel system cleaner in your atv, or if you needed a special fuel system cleaner. Can you run regular automotive fuel system cleaner in small doses?

Small amount probably wouldn't hurt, but if you run a good quality gas such as Chevron,Mobil, etc, not really necessary. JMO I'd rather keep STABIL or a good quality fuel conditioner that would absorb moisture more than just dumping in any additives! Most top tier fuel has cleaners already in their fuel. EVERYBODY has an opinion and this is just mine. Good luck

YEAH SEAFOAM IS TERRIFIC STUFF,THE ONLY CLEANER I HAVE SEEN QUICK RESULTS FROM,CUSTOMER BRINGS CAR IN RUNNING CRAPPY,HAD EVERY THING DONE TO IT AT LIKE THREE OTHER PLACES,FULL TUNE-UP,FUEL PUMP,ECM,COILPACK,INJECTORS.I PUT A CAN IN WITH A QUARTER TANK (HIGHLY NOT RECOMENDED) BUT SHE WAS FRAZZLED. I TOLD HER THE RISKS OF MESSING THE PUMP OR INJECTORS,SHE SAID GO FOR IT.I DROVE IT A WHILE,THEN LET IT IDLE OUTSIDE FOR ABOUT A HALF HOUR, THEN A SMALL EXPLOSION OCCURED,WENT OUTSIDE TO FIND IT STILL RUNNING+PURRING LIKE A TIGER(IT BLEW THE MUFFLER+CAT)THE CAT WAS RATTLING LIKE CRAZY BEFORE IT BLEW NOW IT WAS NOT RATTLEING.REPLACED JUST THE MUFFLER WHICH DID'NT LOOK GREAT TO BEGIN WITH+FILLED THE TANK UP+A HUNDRED DOLLAR TIP LATER HAD ONE HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Some people are crazy enough to dip one of there vacume lines right into the sea foam cans, and let it pour right in at full strength.
Let the car die, let it sit for a while, and start it back up, blows all kinds of **** out of the engine,
but i cant imagine removing all that carbon without negative effects
I have run sea foam, i never ran it as strong as you guys have
I like to put some marvel in my oil a hundred or so miles before i change it
and I like to put it in my gas, car seems to run better and burn less gas
