I have a 2007 Sportsman 800. About a month ago I parked it in the garage and two days later it would turn over but not start. After many hours and swiping parts from other bikes I found the problem. I had a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor. Go figure. It ran like a champ for the next month. Even took it to Quadfest in PA for a weekend. Yesterday I pulled it out to wash it and the same symptoms as befroe. So I pushed it into the garage and ordered another Crankshaft Position Sensor. Actually two because Im heading to WV in 30 days. The Sensor is connected straight to the computer box(ECU). It shows no codes. Checked all wires and saw no nicks or bad parts. Not trying to buy a new ECU until I am positive that is the problem. Anybody have their Crankshaft Position Sensor go bad. Thanks in advance

Havent had any so far after many, many efi machines at our shop! Just have had small amount wiring problems, couple tps and map sensors and some reflash units. Sounds like a fluke problem, Hope you can trace problem, but if constant, would suspect ECU. Good luck
