I have an odd thing going on with my 500. I took it for a ride yesterday and it was fine for the first part of the ride. Took about a 15 minute break, and when I started it again I noticed a strange message on the speedometer. Something like:

POE rn|v<

Then I noticed it won't go into 4 wheel drive, either.

Wondered if anyone has had that happen or knows what might be causing it?

is this the orginal speedo of that bike? never heard of that before. alot of the sportsmans run the awd thru the speedo's, so if it goes bad there isnt any awd. i didnt think the older ones did that though, but i could be wrong, so someone else will have to chime in.

 

Thanks stendori, didn't know the awd went through the speedo. Maybe someone else has had the problem?
