Does it harm the bike to run in Turf mode when on paved roads. It would seem this would ease turning and help the wear on tires.

I,m not positive but I don't think it'll hurt a thing. All turf mode does is unlock the rearend so I'd say it probably would be better to run it in turf mode. I know it would be easier on the tires if you done alot of turning on pavement.

Shouldn't hurt it at all. I was hoping to see Polaris put this on all of it's sportsman line. I've ridden one of the turf mode equipped machines and I think it is a great feature especially when you're riding on gravel and paved roads, doing chores around the farm or house and even when you're on really twisty trails where you have plenty of traction but just need to turn sharply. A real nice option to have.

I don't necessarily want a longer wheelbase 2-up machine but I'd really like that turf mode option.

It doesn't hurt the Turf mode to ride on pavement or hardpack and it is more gentle on the grass than a regular quad. The ATP and X2 both have it and it is a very nice option. I agree that it is something that should be on all quads.

Turf mode is great. When I'm riding narrow trails with really sharp turns it is great. I can turn much sharper than machines of same size. When I'm riding on the road I use it all the time. Doesn't tear up the grass around the house, etc.
