Default TB 250 wont start. Help!

Ive got a 94 Trailblazer 250. The guy i bought it from jsut had the top end rebuilt. The lights come on so i dont think its the battery. I replaced the spark plug and its got spark. I think its gettin gas because the end of the plug will get wet. At first i thought i flooded it but i let it set and still nothing. I tried the pull start and still nothin. Its full of gas and oil. I tried everything i know and im stuck. HELP!

check the compression to make sure every thing went back together smoothly. also try to do a leak down to see if theres any air leaks and to check the seals on the crank.

Ok, still need some help but tell me how this process sounds to try to get it on,

I think it might be becuase i left the fuel on. Im going to turn the fuel off, and turn it over for a while with the rope to save the starter. Then ill take the plug out and crank somemore and out the plug in and turn fuel on and i think that should fire it up

Small 10 mm drain plug bottom of engine to drain crankcase if full of fuel. may have to remove skid plate if hard to get to.After draining, hold throttle wide open while pull starting,WILL eventually clear out and start if compression and spark ok. Good luck

you can use the starter if you dont run it more than about 10 seconds each time with about 1 minute of cool time between each use.
if your crankcase is full of fuel i would check the float on the carb. it is supposed to shut fuel flow off once the bowl gets full so it doesnt over run into the cylinder. its either out of adjustment or the needle is sticking.

leaving your fuel on only matters if you have a sticking float needle. the carb is suppose to shut fuel flow off when the bowl gets full. if it doesnt shut off, then fuel will just keep running into the carb eventually overflowing into the carb body and then flowing into the cylinder.
