Default wheel spacers,,dumb question

I put 1" spacers on the front to keep the front chains from sawing the springs off the struts. Works great. Similar to what Frank posted just not so fancy. Plenty strong and I don't really notice any handling difference.

Default wheel spacers,,dumb question

i think the offset wheels would cause less stress

spacers shoot your fulcrum point straight out horizintally. The offset wheels have the same fulcrum point as before but the the "rim" is offset out by the angled "spokes" of the wheel. its geometry.... Straight out ---- or at an angle /

they both cause stress but I think the weehls would be a bit less stress thats how I sees it

Physics boys, load x distance, it's the same torque at the hub if you are straight out with a wheel spacer or a rim ,it all equals the same cantilevered force.

If I ever bought wheel spacers I would only get some like this. http://www.drivenproductsinc.com/ATVproducts.html</end quote></div>

3" is WAY too much. All you more than likely need is a 1" spacer.

If you go that wide, you will put extra stress/wear on all components BIG TIME!

And good luck making it through the tight trails.</end quote></div>

those spacers are 1.5 inches only half an inch biger than the 1 inch it is 3 inches if you add up both sides.
