yes, that long shaft sticking out with no support makes some noise. they made two different supports. the older ones use bushing, newer uses roller bearings. about 60 bux from polaris....

part #1590237 superseeded by 2201115 (bearing type).

if you dont want to buy one i have a used bushing type you can have, just pay for shipping and its yours.

how big is it? you tihnk it would fit in an envelope so all it would b is a stamp to avoid shipping? otherwise i could see about shipping.

its smaller than a breadbox, but i dont think a envelope and stamp will cover it. i have the two shims you may need too. ill just ship it from my work and send me what you think its worth to ya....

ok but first, how hard is it to install? do in have to remove plastics and all that to get to easy? im jsut afraid ill take stuff apart and wont be able to get it all back together.

you will need to be able to get to the rear brake disc. remove any plastic guards or covers, the caliper, brake disc, and your thare. i can do this job in less than an hour....

i like putting some black silicone on the brake disc splines to keep it quiet also. the disc will still "float" with the silicone....

if you think you cant do this it may be best to take it somewhere....

ok. ive taken then caliper cover and stuff off i jsut didnt want to have to take all the plastics off and have it all apart and not put it together but i think i can do it. Also im only 17 so i dont have much money but i get some often. If u send me the part ill send u cash in the mail in return if tahts alright(wrapped up in some paper so some greedy postal workers dont get it)

Does anyone know if they make aftermarket or replacment bearings for the 1590237. I have one on my 96scrambler and the bearings are gone. Got some mud or snad in there and ripped them up. thanks
