Default over heat

2004-600 twin hot lite comes on but not realy hot replaced sencor and running temp gauge any ideas

Check your coolant level - It might be too low. Also, make sure that your coolant pump (AKA water pump) is functioning. If your coolant isn't circulating properly, it may be getting hot in 1 place (like the head), but not another. With the engine cold, open the radiator cap can start the engine. You should be able to see the coolant flowing...
