Thanks again.

I'll shop around. I haven't really priced the TC's. You are correct, the prices I looked at were at RMATV... for comparison only. I'll check with the guy at ATV Outfitters. Maybe he can come closer on price, and I can start my research ALL OVER AGAIN! LOL LOL

I'm sure Bighorns will do you fine...I bet they are lighter than the Terracrosses anyway.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I didn't want to start new either. I just got an 850xp and I've been running the stock tires with much success, but I think some new tires would do me a world of good. Just had a few questions.

1. The ebay guy, would his name be neathery5? He has the XTR's (27-9-14 and 27-11-14) for 500 shipped for all four or 775 on wheels.

2. With these tires on either the stock rims or the ss212 (The ones I like), do you need to run a spacer?

3. He also has these. They are terracross xd's on the same rims. Linky What are the thoughts on the xds?

4. Is there anything I'm forgetting? My last atv was when I was about 12 and it was a hand-me-down from an uncle. We rode it around the woods near my house, but I have no real experience with making these things better. I been working on cars for years now though (Long time for me, but I'm only 25), so I have a pretty good idea of what I need to do mechanically, just don't want to mess up a new atv without doing some research first.

Question 1:
Yes he's the guy.Remember you can e-mail him and ask if he'll knock something off the price.

Question 2:
On you stock rims, you'll need a spacer,PM me if you go that route. On the ITP's you don't need spacers, but your tires are going to hang out abit.

Question 3: Terracross XD's are the latest compound don't get the regular Terras.
I had Terras loved the tire, but not the price and they tend to run small.

Question 4: If you forgot something just ask on the forum, these guys know! and will hook you up.You could also PM me if you want.

Thanks for the info. I emailed the guy and asked him about lug nuts as well. I think I'm going with the terracrosses (that's a lot of s's) on the black 212's. Any other advice?
