looking for an opinon for mounting of HID lighting

I have a polaris ranger. Im interested in getting some hid lights. i understand there seemes to be conterversy on mounting the lights on the roll bar or the front bumper. Any sugestions

I would say that the front bumper is more effective, and the rool bar is mainly for looks.
