Default Clutches burnt

Hey guys, time to work on the machines, thought I'd kick this dead horse a while.

If I change the gears in the trans, add a clutch kit, and ensure the vent tube is clear, do I need to swap the rear sprocket? I realize that the gears in the trans should change the front tire speed, but will it equal the rear?
