clicking in rear driveshaft

Default clicking in rear driveshaft

has anyone had this problem with the clicking around the rear driveshaft,its not the bearings i checked them,hate to pull it all apart if i don`t have to,i`m thinking its a universal,its just on one side,any help will be appericated

time to replace the cv joint.

how will i know if i can repair or replace the cv joint when i pull it off,thanks.

jsut buy a new cv. it will save alot of time and hassle. ive already replaced 2 on my buddys quad becuase the boots ripped and the bearing fell out. if its a popping find out which side it is and replace that side.

Check the rubber bushings on the sway bar too. Mine keep loosening up on my 500 and they make a lound clunk, or click. I thought it was a u-joint myself then I seen that the sway bar was loose. May not be the problem but something else to check.

Thanks Rowe,as soon as i dig it out of the snow on the back porch i will get to it.
