Default Polaris Glacier 2 plow system final install issue

Also if there is anything else that doesn't look right let me know. REMINDER, I never had this piece installed. I assembled it together about 2 years ago, and it sat in my utility room until the rainy day came to install it which then was my SP800 upgrade. I only had the plow mount plate on the 450, so I never used my plow. My blade was stored in my small shed in its box, to keep from rusting etc. (Story for some context)

R,

Yes, those big hex bolts on the bottom in the front are the ones that connect to my plow blade. Take them out and see if it slides inbetween the vertical supports on the plow.

The bolt and square washer you took out are the stops for the blade.

Gotcha! I thought the stops were the feet bottoms of the plow blade.LOL.LOL So isn't there like a small spring attachment connected to it (hex bolt there already) only visable from underneath. I must of figured it wasn't the one for some reason or another. Okay this all makes sense. I am just glad I am NOT missing any
hardware, I had much of it stored with this in a zip lock bag.

Cool, thanks for all the help and one more time to VENT! I wish the instructions were a little more CLEAR during installation and it wouldn't be so confusing!

Thanks a bunch!

No problem R... now get rid of that winch attachment bar, and replace it with 3 links of 3/8" chain and a 3/8" D shackle.

You'll get a lot more lift, and it will be easier on the winch, as you won't be going "tap" "tap" "tap" on the winch switch to make sure you don't bottom out the winch hook or winch saver when you are pulling up the plow.

Have a good one.

Cool DCT, good tip about the chain link. I will be sure to
add that to my things TO DO.

Cheers and thanks for all the help!
