You won't have to, as long as it is charged, its impossible to freeze.

Default 30 below weather froze my battery

My friends got the axact same bike 2008 500 h.o. we went to start it the other day and nothing put the booster to it and it started up took it off and it stoped right away. FINALLY got the battery off the bike (pretty hard to do) and 2 of the cells where frozen sold, there was no crack in the case so we charged it inside overnight and put it back on the bike and it's been fine ever since. My 2008 500EFI x2 hasn't had a problem so maybe it's just that one model and the battery they put in them......

I'v had great results from a CTEK charger it has a cold mode for charging yes in the cold [IMG][/IMG] Its hooked to the atv all summer and to the sled all winter . MULTI US 3300

Those look pretty nice!</end quote></div>

Ya works great found this info on it so if Ferrari and Aston Martin use it then my POPO should also use it CTEK has formed original equipment partnerships with Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Harley-Davidson Sweden and Porsche. According to the CTEK representatives we spoke to, some of these vehicles provide special mounts for the CTEK charger, and is available as an accessory for maintenance charging whenever you need it.

I have always found it somewhat odd when it's 20 below out and my kids say "Dad it's freezing out". I tell them NO - freezing is actually 52 degrees warmer and would feel nice in comparison to 20 below. lol
