Maybe i should ask this question in the trailer section but it kinda fits this polaris one as well. anyway i have a trac-pac 2 place trailer that has a max cap. of 1700lbs and my xp 550 and friends new x2 i will be probable a little over that and i have decided to sell my trac-pac and buy another trailer does anybody have a favorite? i would like to keep it just a 2 place. i got a big truck so weight is not a problem. thanks!!!!

I am also in need of a trailer.... leaning towards a Triton 3 spot side load. Looks like a nice piece and they are available in Mass. I am still looking though.

if the weight rating is because of the axle then you might look into just a heavier spring. i used to work at a trailer manufacturing plant and most axles that are close in rating just have a heavier spring on them.

im not sure of the axle, i might have to call the dealer on monday. the tag on the tongue says 1700 max but i have upgraded the tires already. i just added brand new springs to it because the my tires were rubbing on the underside of the deck everytime i hit a bump. i also tried putting the springs on top of the axle but with a tilt deck it made it really steep to drive up. so i put them back under.

Check out Northern tool and equipment (NorthernTool.com). I've used these guys a bunch and have had really good success. Just get measurement of your axle and up grade to a heavier one. You might have to get longer U bolts depending on the tube diameter and heavier springs but these guys are pretty tough to beat.

I've built 8 different trailers form 20' car haulers to ATV snowsleds/wheel trialers. Its not that hard to change over an axle, that's the way I'd go.

I've been running a sport warrior "high side" 77x12' for a few years now. Did lots of research, looked at many trailers before I bought this one. It fit my needs the best. Very well built!! 3500 axle. Nice, high sides keeps the rocks, dust, salt etc from hitting the atv. I couldn't be happier.

I was turned on to them by a friend who owns a const. co., he has 6 of their trailers...skidsteer, equipment trailers and a utility. They've been rock solid for him.

I've had 2 machines crammed on the 77"x12' bed...they were tight. I won't load 2 atv's unless I really need to. It's not really a two place. I bought it for my atv and flip over ice house. In the summer I use it for construction.

When I need a new trailer...it'll be another trailer from colfax. They make many styles and they build them well.

HEMI --

I know we have discussed these trailers in the past, but I do have a couple of quick questions...if you do not mind.

1. Does the Silver Fox T-shaped trailer (like you purchased) have electric brakes?

2. Did you pay the $1843.00 price tag? (I zoomed in on the tag) Or are they willing to negotiate?

As I mentioned before...I like the T-shape design...and do not mind driving to CO to pick it up. Gives me a chance to visit family and such.

Thanks,

biz

I have a Triton 4 place snowmobile trailer. It fits 4 quads perfect and I put a truck box on the "V" in front.
All the guys thought I was nuts buying one in AZ but now they're doing the same thing. ZERO maintenance and lightweight.
Paid $1200.
