Froozen 4x4 fill plug

Default Froozen 4x4 fill plug

Hi all Great forum,Have a 1998 425 Mag.can't get the plug out to drain the oil out of the hub.Lots, of rust around plug,put boxend around allen wrench to get leveage but it would not come lose.Used wd 40 and taped on allen wrench.

Try a little heat from a torch around plug area, best to have a 3/16 allen socket with ratchet to get best power to break loose. If strips out plug,Sears makes an inexpensive socket screw type removers that grip rounded corners.
