Looking for some help, my wifes speedo works when it wants to. Sometimes on sometimes off and there is no rhyme nor reason to why. Other then replacing it has anyone had this problem.

It is the same cluster as the hawkeye 300 so maybe someone will know something.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

I had some problems with the 06 hawkeye speedo same as you stated but traded it for the 400 and there has been no problems with mine... I think my dealer replaced the speedo on the 300 but no positive....

 

If it was a 500 I would guess the "Hall Effect" sensor by the front right disk brake is going out $65.

Not sure if the 400 H.O has that set up though. Could ask the dealer.

 

the 400 has a totally differnt style speedo, but it might be as he said a wheel/speed sensor. worth a look.
